Attorney Michelle J. Meis founded Meis Mediation Services, LLC after nearly a decade spent litigating family law matters throughout nearly half of Ohio’s 88 counties. Such experience has equipped Michelle with valuable knowledge to bring into her mediation practice.

Michelle has a deep passion for helping families navigate difficult transitions with grace and compassion. She believes in the power of mediation to bring about lasting resolutions and avoid costly and time-consuming legal battles. Mediation allows Michelle to empower families to make their own decisions and find creative solutions that work for everyone involved. Her approach is grounded in active listening, empathy, and a commitment to finding common ground.

Michelle continues to practice in the area of family law, and is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. She was recognized as a Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers for four years in a row.

Michelle currently resides in the Hilliard area with her husband. During her free time, she enjoys cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, running, weightlifting, and traveling to new places.
